you will soon realize it when taking a good look at some hi-fi leads after a couple of years: even on a phono cable which costs more than 200 €, you will perhaps find a porous jacket, the insulation has shrunk and the copper is oxidized. Due to the permanently “simmering transformers“, most cables are exposed to enormous heat and aggressive vapors. These will soon attack the cables, thereby altering their technical and electrical properties. Not so with our SC-Stratos, Longlife: it has been customized not only electrically, but also acoustically to the realities of high-end systems. It sounds exceptionally natural, airy, unobtrusive, and it brings utter silence during musical breaks. Owing to a multiple shielding (braid + semiconductor), the SC-Stratos, Longlife is perfectly protected against EMC-problematic interference fields. For heat dissipation we have woven special synthetic fibers into the cross-braid and clad the whole with an extremely durable and heat resistant jacket. For enhanced conductivity the copper wires are treated with a special conductor smoothing. For the insulation of the SC-Stratos, Longlife we have chosen a durable, microscopic PE/PP compound. Ideal for connecting a (SA)CD/BluRay player or DAT/DVD recorder or preamp to the power amp.
